The Activation Effect®

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 26, 2026

Welcome to The Activation Effect®. Our programs and services are designed to provide a welcoming, educational environment supporting movement, nutrition, healthy habits, and self-leadership. By accessing this website, booking services, purchasing programs, or participating in our offerings, you agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions outlined below.

1. Services and Programs

The Activation Effect® offers educational wellness services, including group fitness instruction, private sessions, nutrition education, healthy habits and self-leadership discussions, book clubs, youth enrichment programs, workshops, and related activities. Group programs and classes are offered virtually unless otherwise specified. In-person services may be available through separately arranged private sessions. Program availability, descriptions, schedules, and pricing may change. Changes affecting existing paid bookings or memberships will be handled in accordance with applicable laws and the terms agreed to at purchase.

2. Complimentary Introductory Session

A Complimentary Introductory Session is required before participating in classes or programs offered by The Activation Effect®. This session provides an opportunity to discuss program expectations, participation guidelines, available offerings, and individual interests. For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must attend the Complimentary Introductory Session before the youth participant begins the program.

3. Participation and Personal Responsibility

Participation in fitness and movement activities is voluntary and involves inherent risks, including possible physical injury. Participants are encouraged to work within their individual abilities, use appropriate modifications, maintain a safe exercise environment, and discontinue activities that cause pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort. Participants are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for their circumstances and consulting a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate. Participation in a Complimentary Introductory Session does not constitute medical clearance or an assessment of fitness for exercise.

4. Educational Nature of Services

The Activation Effect® provides general fitness instruction, nutrition education, healthy habits education, and personal growth discussions. Our programs are not medical, mental health, counseling, diagnostic, or therapeutic services. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, provide medical nutrition therapy, or replace care from licensed healthcare professionals. Participants should consult appropriate qualified professionals regarding individual health concerns.

5. Youth Participation

Youth programs are designed for educational enrichment, fitness, and healthy habits discussions. A parent or legal guardian is required to attend the Complimentary Introductory Session before a minor begins participation. After the introductory session, parents and legal guardians are welcome to remain present but are not required to participate or remain during sessions. Responsibility for determining appropriate supervision remains with the parent or legal guardian. The Activation Effect® is not a childcare provider, licensed school, or therapeutic service.

6. Bookings, Payments, and Memberships

Services may be purchased through individual bookings, class packages, memberships, or other available arrangements. Pricing, included services, package durations, and payment requirements are presented during the booking or purchasing process. Recurring memberships continue until canceled. Applicable renewal terms, payment frequency, and cancellation procedures will be disclosed before enrollment. Purchases and participation are subject to the applicable policies presented at the time of booking or purchase, as well as applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

The Activation Effect® understands that schedules and circumstances change.

Membership Cancellations: Participants may cancel ongoing memberships at any time without cancellation fees or required advance notice. While 30 days' notice is appreciated for planning purposes, it is not required. Cancellations stop future recurring membership charges in accordance with applicable law. Previously processed payments are not automatically refunded.

Class Packages and Individual Sessions: Cancellation, rescheduling, expiration, and refund terms for individual sessions and prepaid packages will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Program Changes: If The Activation Effect® cancels a scheduled paid session, participants will be offered an appropriate rescheduling opportunity or another remedy consistent with the purchase terms and applicable law. Any refunds or cancellation rights required by applicable law will be honored.

8. Virtual Participation and Technology

Participants are responsible for having suitable internet access, a compatible device, and a safe environment for participating in virtual sessions. Technical difficulties may occasionally affect access to live programming. Participants should contact The Activation Effect® if they experience an access issue. Participants should follow any equipment and space recommendations provided for their chosen activities.

9. Community Guidelines and Privacy

We strive to maintain a respectful, supportive environment. Participants are expected to communicate respectfully, protect the privacy of others, and refrain from harassment, disruptive behavior, or unauthorized sharing of other participants' personal information. Recording, photographing, or distributing live sessions or participant interactions without appropriate permission is prohibited. The Activation Effect® may restrict participation when necessary to protect the safety and integrity of its programs, subject to applicable laws and existing purchase agreements.

10. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property
